The Garden Writers Association invites you to join them in their efforts to feed the hungry by planting an extra row of vegetables in your garden this spring. “Since 2005, more than 1.5 millions pounds of produce were donated generating meals for over 5.5 million needy recipients.“ It’s so easy to share your extra fruits and vegetables with a local food bank, and know that you are part of the solution. More information about participating can be found online.
