A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze."

FEATURED GARDEN BLOGS

DragonFly Garden
A native of Cuba, Rusty who now lives and gardens in Miami is working to create an oasis in his small urban backyard. Judging by the photos of his tropical garden, he has definitely succeeded at creating a restful place away from the busyness of urban life.

My Grandpa’s Garden
This new garden blog (started in February of this year) holds a lot of promise for future posts. Michelle, a Midwest gardener, has recently acquired her first “real” yard, and this spring will begin the fulfilling and frustrating mission of making it her own. She fondly reminisces about her grandpa’s garden, and has dedicated her blog and garden to his memory. A good blog to bookmark for anyone with fond memories of a grandparent’s garden.

Digging - Diary of an Austin Gardener
Pam gardens in the “black gumbo” soil of her central Austin, Texas garden. Inspired by the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, she has created a breathtaking garden that contains a mix of drought-tolerant, native prairie plants. Her blog is abundantly filled with one striking photo after another.

Garden Rant
Four flourishing garden writers, Susan Harris, Elizabeth Licata, Michele Owens and Amy Stewart have teamed up to, what else, “rant and rave” about all things gardening. No topic is off limits to them, as witnessed by one of their latest posts on “The Naked Gardeners.” You’ll enjoy their honest bantering on their boredom with perfect magazine gardens, their distrust of the horticulture industry and much more. Check it out for yourself, and feel free to add your two cents worth!
