GARDEN BLOG: Birds Etcetera

Winter is the time of year that our bird friends can use a helping hand. Perhaps some extra seed, a heated water source or shelter from the cold. For those gardeners who love to entertain birds in their yard, the Birds Etcetera blog will be a hit. John Trapp is a bird fanatic and wildlife biologist in West Virginia who shares his love for birds. On his blog he states that, “I eat, drink, sleep, and even dream birds. Birds are my vocation as well as my avocation.” And it shows on his blog. Along with bird information from around the world, John includes an impressive list of 130 plus other bird blogs in the United States, as well as ones from folks in other countries. This has to be the most extensive bird blog on the planet! Take a break from the holiday shopping and perch for a spell at Birds Etcetera.
