Yakima Area Arboretum
The Yakima Area Arboretum is a living museum & botanical garden. It is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Interstate 82 and Nob Hill Boulevard (SR 24). The grounds are open every day from dawn until dusk. The Jewett Visitor Center is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.The mission of the Yakima Area Arboretum is to create and share a living museum of botanical specimens in order to cultivate a greater knowledge and appreciation of native and adaptive plants in an atmosphere of beauty, inspiration, and relaxation.
