| 5. Huntsville-Madison County Botanical Garden |
| This American Hemerocallis Society display garden features a collection of over 675 cultivars of daylilies in a spectacular array of colors, sizes, and flower forms. Interpretive labels identify each plant cultivar and its hybridizer. The garden continues to evolve as newer cultivars are added each year. A group of spider daylilies now grow on one of our back beds and the miniature bed has additional daylilies. The bloom season usually begins in late May and peaks in mid-June, with rebloom on many varieties until frost. |

| 7. Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum |
| Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum, "Alabama's Little Corner of Greece", now features over 20 acres of year-round floral beauty and classical sculpture, including new statuary honoring Olympic heroes and mythical gods. The Olympian Centre welcomes visitors with a video presentation of Jasmine Hill's history and a display of Olympic memorabilia from the Games of past years. A tour of Jasmine Hill, now completely accessible to visitors with disabilities, offers spectacular and ever-changing views, including our full-scale replica of the Temple of Hera ruins as found in Olympia, Greece, the birthplace of the Olympic Flame. |

| 8. Shakespeare Gardens |
| An astonishing number of lush plants and delicate blooms have been installed in the secluded Shakespeare Gardens venue. Among them are 8,000 Narcissus bulbs covering 6,700 square feet. Another 1,000 square feet of bulbs include Asiatic Lilies and Chives. Surrounding a six-tiered 325-seat amphitheatre with rock ledge seats are 4,000 Catlin Sedges, 4,790 Yellow Archangels, and 1,285 Moneyworts used as ground covers, along with 570 Rosemary and Lavender plants. A canopy of 55 trees will shade the garden and amphitheatre and will be at their height of color at different seasons of the year. Among them are Trident, Species, and October Glory Red Maples, Eastern Redcedars, Sweetgums, Athena Elms, Chinese Flametrees, Medlars and Pomegranates. More than 200 magnificent garden shrubs include Dwarf Yaupons, Foster Hollies, Serviceberry plants, LaMarque vines, and Honeysuckles. Among the fragrant perennials are Tangerine Wormwoods, Red Poppies, and Rues. |

| 9. Troy State University Arboretum |
| The mission of the Troy State University Arboretum is to acquire representative species of the flora of Southeast Alabama and to display them in situations that mimic the natural conditions under which the species would occur. In particular, the Arboretum is interested in research on rare and un-common species and communities. The Arboretum works to preserve representative members, communities and habitats of the Wiregrass region of Southeast Alabama on its 75-acre's adjacent to Troy State University's main campus and on its 18 acre Pocosin Nature Preserve located approximately 6 miles due east of the main campus. |

| 10. University of Alabama Arboretum |
| The University of Alabama Arboretum maintains plant collections for botanical education and appreciation. The Arboretum features walking trails through a native woodland section, a wildflower garden, a collection of ornamental plants, an experimental garden, and a children's garden. |
